sarah fragroso paleo cookbook primal paleolithic diet lifestyle blog website cover robb wolfI’m not sure who (if anyone) follows/reads this blog that doesn’t also read my twitter or facebook updates, but if there are any such folks out there, I have exciting–though few days old–news: I was featured on everydaypaleo.com last week!

Not only is this an incredible honor and exciting opportunity to connect with so many people I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise, but it’s a damn good excuse for all those food pictures I took, diptic images I crafted and food journal posts I conjured up. All that time? Yep, worth it. If it helps or inspires or even plants a seed for one person. Worth it.

If you haven’t seen the post yet, go check it out. It’s titled Dedication Despite Challenges and, wow, truly one of the most humbling things I’ve read (it also contains full body/head/face before and after pictures, something I have chosen not to share in this space).

For the most part I feel like I’m just one step ahead of disaster these days and it’s definitely affirming to know that at least not seen that way! A great reminder to let go of some of the negatives and keep in mind all the good I’m doing, have done, and working toward, etc. Maybe even admit that, yeah, I’ve kinda got it goin on.

At least a little 😉

There’s so much i want to say and lots of topics I’d love to post about, but part of what so many people relate to is the craziness that is the season of life I’m in. With spring term (my last before June gradation!) starting today my free time just shrank before my eyes. I will do my best to get a post up with some level of regularity, though please bear with me as I zero in on the finish line and making it across in one piece.

Lastly, I really just want to re-iterate exactly what I said at the end of my last post:

I am more than what I eat (though still better for what I eat!) and you should be too. The paleo lifestyle isn’t suppose to be a religion you convert to. It’s a tool–a means to an end–to improve the life you’ve already got. And then expand it beyond what you could even imagine.

Paleo is wonderful and it’s definitely a part of who I am, but food and fitness are not my whole life (and a hope yours is fuller than that too!). This blog is about the many facets of me and will continue to be as such. Expect the food posts to ebb and flow.

Also, I still feel blessed.
